Fault Analysis of Oil-immersed Transformer

Common faults of Oil-immersed transformer in operation include winding, bushing, tap changer, core, oil tank and other accessories. Winding fault There are inter-turn short circuit, winding grounding, inter-phase short circuit, wire breakage and joint open welding. Casing failure Transformer bushing scaling causes pollution flashover in fog or light rain, which causes single-phase grounding or inter-phase short circuit on high voltage side of transformer. Serious leakage The oil leakage of transformer is serious or continuous from the damaged part so that the oil level gauge can not see the oil level. At this time, the transformer should be stopped to repair and refuel immediately. The causes of oil leakage of transformer include cracking of welding seam or failure of sealing parts, serious rust and damage of oil tank caused by shock external force in operation. Tap changer Common faults include poor contact or inaccurate position of tap changers, surface melting and b

Oil immersed power transformer Cooling methods and Standard

How many cooling methods do oil immersed power transformer have? And what is the Oil immersed power transformer Cooling methods Implementation Standard? Cooling mode of Oil immersed Power Transformer In the operation of oil-immersed power transformer, the heat of winding and iron core is transferred to oil first, and then to cooling medium through oil. The cooling methods of oil-immersed power transformer can be divided into the following types according to the capacity: 1. Natural Oil Circulation Natural Cooling (Oil-immersed Self-Cooling) 2. Natural Oil Circulation Air Cooling (Oil-immersed Air Cooling) This cooling method adopts corrugated fin cooler wall or radiators . distribution transformer radiator transformer oil tank cooler wall The  PLC automatic Corrugated Radiator wall pressing machine  using, insure the folded steel wall has a good precision. Together the using of automatic welding machine for   Corrugated Fins Wall Seam Welding .  PLC automatic

Oil Leakage Fault Analysis of Distribution Transformer

Why oil filled distribution transformer has the risk of leaking oil? We will analysis from following  7points. 1. Oil Leakage at Welding Site Mainly due to poor welding quality, virtual welding, de-welding, pinholes and sand holes in the weld, oil-immersed transformer exposes hidden dangers after operation due to the covering of flux and paint when it leaves the factory. In addition, electromagnetic vibration will cause welding vibration cracking, resulting in leakage. For those leakage phenomena that have already occurred, the first step is to find out the leakage points, which should not be omitted. For serious leakage parts, metal tools such as flat shovels or sharp punches can be used to rivet the leakage points. After controlling the leakage, the treatment surface can be cleaned up. Polymer composite materials are mostly used for curing. After curing, the purpose of long-term treatment of leakage can be achieved. 2. Oil Leakage of Seals The reason of bad sealing is tha
